Inaugural #CONTENDFORPEACE Floral Design Workshop

This workshop is called #CONTENDFORPEACE because Marsha B. Parker has been using it on Instagram as part of the message that Refined Gatherings, Ltd. seeks to convey. As a three-time thriving cancer survivor, she understands that in life there are many struggles that seek to steal peace. It’s important to fight for it mentally and emotionally.

In this 2-hour flowering workshop for survivors, Refined Gatherings, Ltd. will educate participants on floral care, design tips and techniques that can be used in their home. Self-Reflection and Self-Encouragement will be used as a catalyst for the design process and to promote peace (personal/community).

Refined Gatherings, Ltd. will curate a mixture of seasonal and premium florals, along with a vase and other supplies. The class will be intimate enough for each participant to receive personal support, guidance, and instruction. All attendees will be empowered to create a bountiful, survivorship inspired fresh floral centerpiece to keep.

A photographer will be on site to take photos of the exciting creative process.
